From Whidbey Island
•Take Rt. 20 across Deception Pass Bridge
•Turn left at first road after bridge (Rosario Rd.)
•Continue straight for approx. 5 miles, look for Welch Lane on left
•Turn left on Welch Lane; The Skinboat School is the first drive on the left
From I-5
•Take Exit 230 (Anacortes / San Juan Islands), Rt. 20 West
•Continue on Rt. 20 West for approx. 15 miles (no turns) to end on Commercial Ave., Anacortes
•Turn right on Commercial Ave., proceed to first light (32nd St.)
•Turn left on 32nd St., proceed to D Ave. (2nd Stop sign)
•Turn left on D Ave., proceed approx. 1.3 miles, look for Welch Lane on right
•Turn right on Welch Lane, The Skinboat School is first drive on the left

There is an airport shuttle that runs directly from Sea-Tac airport to stops in Anacortes, almost hourly.  Reservations should be made in advance.

Lodging Anacortes Facility:
The Skinboat School is located on a 10-acre piece of property on beautiful Fidalgo island in Anacortes, WA. There are a few loft bunks available in the shop for students doing an intensive workshop. Tents may also be pitched on the property during the summer months. Students staying on the property are asked for one hour of service to the school per day of stay to offset the impact of numerous people. Bathroom and shower facilities are limited but available, space is offered on a first-come first-served basis. Please contact us for details.
